Be still my bleating heart...

...but i love knitting with every fiber of my being.

farmer joined me in a celebratory dance when i finished knitting my legwarmers (one of which is pictured).

oooo!! so happy. we're on the same wavelength - i too have been wearing legwarmers, however, mine are storebought as i yet lack the skills to knit them. so happy for you.

since you're starting knitting...to make legwarmers you don't need a pattern, just your leg! start with 5 double pointed needles. cast on probably around 36 stitches for a worsted weight yarn, and do 2x2 ribbing for a couple of inches, then stockinette stitch then 2x2 ribbing for the top cuff. along the way increase and decrease stitches according to your leg's measurements. (with the four double pointed needles you can try on your legwarmers every step of the way to make sure they're fitting well.)
