Wendell Berry

I finally met Wendell Berry. He signed my copy of Home Economics.

(BLAST! Which Wendell Berry quote to use? Whole chapters come to mind...)

He is a farmer and a man of letters. His essays prevent premature aging by easing the creases in your forehead when you think and think and think about the best way to live on this planet.

He's a shortcut to happiness.

Lucky! Wow, I wish he would come to our little indie bookstore in Kansas.

Another missed shindig! I love Wendell Berry and his mentor Wallace Stegner.
