Two things!
Firstly,
last week I resigned from managing Provo's Farmers Market.
I am sad about it but it's been a very long time coming. The good thing is that quitting gives me more time to focus on shopping there!
I am a bit of a waffler about decisions (just ask Susan KB). (HA! "Waffle"r. That's an inside joke about the market. hint.) But I am not going to second guess this decision! I am/will be working on other projects with inspirational people that I dig! More about that later.

Secondly,
O'lover just informed me that the green architectural firm he works for is ranked as the top most profitable architecture firm in Utah. That means green building is on the rise! Also, the Wetland Education Center they designed was just certified as the second LEED platinum building (the highest ranking for sustainable building) in Utah! Go Utah!

I think turning a new leaf is often like a loose leaf being carried in the wind, it turns and it turns and it turns until it lands in a new place and finds its new journey. New opportunities will come up, the waffling is just the wind blowing and it will pass.
I am so lucky to have found a firm to work for that is run and made up of talented ethically minded people. What is sustaining us, while many firms are having to cut staff is that we are committed to developing beneficial relationships - relationships between people, between them and their built environment, between them and the earth. In doing so we're able to work on great projects like the Wetland Education Center, and we should be seeing more great projects like it being finished in Utah!

You two are great. I'm sure much good will come from these decisions.
All I can say is three big cheers for you!! You have been so amazing. I can't even imagine all the hard work you have put into it, but it as so overly paid off for people like me. You have given us the raddest farmers market and we can't thank you enough. We really just love YOU!! I'm excited to see what you are up to next!

You and O'lover did great work with the Farmers Market, and I for one feel really sad that you're no longer going to be the drivers behind the tractor wheel. Thanks for all you did to make it fabulous.
