Harvest Basket

Today's pick included our dog Farmer's favorite food:

EGGPLANT!*

and lots of it! Some of which we coated with fresh egg and grilled for lunch.

Also, calendula flowers, green beans, lavender sweet peppers and green peppers, lemon cucumbers, squash blossoms (stuffed with ricotta and grilled those too), nasturtium flowers, tomatoes, oregano, basil, and kale.

Our garlic has been curing on screens under the patio awning for the last two weeks. Now they're braided and hanging - ready to use up.
